White metal

We offer casting of white metal and can help you with:

• Centrifugal casting of white metal bearings / stern tube bearings. 
• Manual casting of thrust bearings

Each white metal casting is carried out with excellent craftsmanship and all castings are subsequently inspected, by ultrasonic testing to ensure proper binding between the white metal and the base material.

If you need a renewal of white metal in a stern tube bearing, we have the capacity for centrifugal casting of up to 400 kg of white metal. The white metal is melted using a purpose-built crucible furnace and the centrifugal casting is carried out with the bearing placed in our lathe.
